Site News: The Junior Compositor is going weekly

tips_32x32

Well guys, it looks as though I won’t be able to keep up the twice weekly update schedule.  Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, work is really starting to kick in and I only have a couple of nights of the week to myself for downtime.  When I started this blog, lo those many months ago, I had a lot more free time as I was “between projects” (ie, unemployed) so obviously I had time up my sleeve to do more posts.  At this point the Sunday updates are still ago as I have a bit of time to spend on getting materials together.

So stay tuned and if you have any suggestions for topics, hit me with an email and I will look at getting some info on it!

Cheers, big ears.

Nice work on the job front! Any sort of income these days are a good thing so well done man.

I’ll hopefully be putting up my own site through wordpress within a few weeks so I can get serious about networking, May send you an email regarding web hosting options.

For me at the moment its working hard (in my non industry job) while searching for openings up here in brisvegas.. If you happen to know any websites regarding that..dont hesitate to list them up as a topic one day?

Glad all is well man, have a good one.

No worries mate, you might want to check out http://www.squarespace.com if you don’t want to faf about with the innards of a blog. Wordpress has been quite a hassle lately and I am getting a bit fed up with it.

So i’ve given squarespace a go and it is fairly intuitive! I played around with the trial today and basically threw some elements together without any real concept of organisation and it found that it works really well with integrating different aspects of a site.
I prefer to have complete control over my CSS and coding so the editor fits well with me because you can edit all the code on the fly.
Big thanks again for the recommendation matt, ill be registering the domain and all that jazz asap.. check out the rushed design if you want @ http://thrillerfx.squarespace.com/
Bare in mind it isnt the most usable or accessible site going around.. just threw it together today!
You can probably tell that ‘The Junior Compositor’ site influenced me a little.
